to the original colours without losing the original patina and signs
of wear.
The carving demonstrates unsurpassed craftsmanship.
This horse stands on the original rocking stand, which allows the
horse to move from back to front.

The artist Josef Hübner was chosen for creating the most beautiful
horses in the world - Carrousel Hippo-Palace (Paris 1900; declared
a French Heritage Site in 1992). The dynamic and elegantly carved
carousel horses by Atelier Hübner & Poeppig from the Belle
Epoque can be found in collections such as the Musée des
Arts Forrains in Paris and private collections worldwide.

Dimensions (with rocking stand): Head height approx. 1.50 m, saddle
height approx. 1.00 m, length of the horse approx. 1.65 m, width
approx. 30 cm, Length swingstandard approx. 1.80 m.
There are 2 types of restorations:
1. restore the horse as "new... and
2. restore the horse retaining all signs of age and use the original
old colors and oil paint.
