An
unique, rare antique carousel
Sometimes we're selling unique objects: a
'once in a life time opportunity' for the ones
who are searching for something really special.
On behalve of the owner we have a large,
antique carousel for sale.
A bit of history
This carousel was build by the Firm Thomas
Walker in 1923 for the showman J.W. Fletcher.
We think that the horses were made by the English
firm Anderson . It was sold in 1974 to Jimmy
Shipley. He sold this carousel again after 5
years to to an amusementparc in Belgium.
At this moment England owns 20 carousels. Only
8 of them are antique.
This is one of the last, excisting carousels. The
owner sells this object only as 'one' piece,
although the horses would generate more money if
he is selling them apart. (They have a value of
at least 3000 English pounds a piece).
He also consider it as 'a loss' if such an object
will disappaer forever.
